Dune ring gold

Used as the background image for all my web pages, this acrylc painting was permanently destroyed in 1981 by a car that drove through the front window of a Laguna Beach art gallery.

This oil-over acrylic was a rather complex and lengthy project, taking several months to complete. Was on commission and sold it to a friend of mine who is thinking of selling it for $6000 on Ebay.

With a computer, I combined multiple images from several paintings on various transparent layers to create this effect.

This seascape was inspired by an especially vibrant oceanfront photograph I saw. However, in the process of painting it, I got lost in many different directions, with the finished artwork turning out to be quite different from the original picture.
