I compiled a list of movies, audios and websites in a deliberate attempt to confront conventional, closed-minded thinking and to stand mainstream science on its head. The Day the Earth Nearly Died - BBC Documentary - Geologists and paleontologists found evidence of a massive volcanic eruption (a flood basalt eruption) covering half of Siberia 250 million years ago that led to a global temperature rise of 10 degrees destroying 95% of all life on Earth. The earth did not recover for nearly 100,000 years. A similar rise in Co2 levels is happening right now, which will lead to a massive rise in methane gasses, causing a global rise in temperature of 10 degrees, which will destroy 95% of all life on Earth.

Avatar is a remarkable science fiction film (produced by James Cameron) of an intelligent species living on a pristine "Amazon Jungle" planet that gets violated by a heavily armed army of profit oriented humans trying to mine a particular mineral directly beneath some of their most sacred forest homes.
The "hero" and main character of this movie was "cloned" into one of their bodies and sent to infiltrate their culture as one of their own people to gather intelligence on their world and way of life (hence the term, "Avatar"). What happens instead is he eventually falls in love with their way of life and in love with the wild, feisty and irresistible daughter of the main tribal leader and turns against the human general and his army trying to devastate their home world.
As you know, Avatar has a similar theme to Dances with Wolves and other "ecological" exploitation movies: greed verses the dire need to protect all that is sacred and spiritual. Avatar could not be more relevant to the way nature is being destroyed all along by intensely aggressive, materialistic, greedy, industrial entities throughout history, today and, in this movie, in the future on a distant planet.
2012 - Is the whole world in for a real rough ride? According to Bashar (the ET channeled through Darryl Anka) and other reliable spiritual sources such as William Caldwell via the materialization medium David Thompson, the answer is not really. 2012 may be the end of the extraterrestrial quarantine, the passing of one age or yuga into one of light, the start of a new cycle in the succession of Earth's axis around the Zodiac, however it will NOT resemble the film, "2012" thank goodness!
2012 is a rather far-fetched Sci-fi disaster movie. If you love wild visual effects, with characters constantly balanced on the edge of destruction, this movie is for you.
